Anza-Borrego North: Coyote Mountain

Coyote Mountain from the Ridge East of Clark Valley

Coyote Mountain, which separates lower Coyote Canyon and Clark Valley, rises 3,192 feet above sea level. It can be climbed from the south along Henderson Canyon Road, from the east from the Rockhouse Canyon road (see Schad), and from the north at Alcoholic Pass.

The photo above was taken from the ridge east of Clark Valley at an elevation of about 3,600 feet. This ridge leads to Villager Peak.
