ABDNHA's board members
have issued personal pledges to match your donations. We are
asking for your support, please read below about the challenge.
The ABDNHA Library has evolved
considerably over the years and serves today as the ABDNHA Library
and Learning Center. This past season we
offered lectures just about every Friday and Saturday night of the season,
with experts in numerous fields, and many lectures were filled to capacity.
For many members and guests the ABDNHA Library & Learning Center is
the face of the organization. It is in serious need of a facelift, an
upgrade, to a place that retains its informal and comfortable charm, but a
place less torn and worn, a place better suited to host the distinguished
speakers who come to Borrego Springs and present their topics to ABDNHA
members, local residents, and visitors.
The goal is $10,000 to accomplish this upgrade – funds are needed to get this
job done in time for next season. The ABDNHA Board Members have
pledged to match your contributions, and issued a matching challenge with a
goal of $10,000.
